Ren strategically backtracks out of the uncomfortable topic.

---

I recently received some wonderful fanart from Alicia, maker of a newly-started webcomic called Silver! It's really great so far, go give it some love! :'D

Thanks, Alicia~!

See you next Friday!

The lighting in this panel is just so...so...gorgeous. I mean...that's the first thing which struck my eye, was just how brilliantly lit this page is. :'D

8th Mar 2013, 12:51 AM

Thank you~! :D

13th Mar 2013, 8:26 AM

You're welcome, Kristy! Hey, and thanks for the shout out to Silver. :D

I agree that the lighting is beautiful and sets up the mood well. Nothing like eating a bit of jelly toast by candle light. :)

8th Mar 2013, 1:46 AM

:O You're back!

11th Mar 2013, 11:44 AM

My pleasure! C: Your comic is off to a great start~

And thanks! Candlelight jelly toast is the best jelly toast.

This begs the question: Do they have a lot of guardrails on the tower, or just magic to make it so clumsy people don't die? Also, anyone who has a fear of heights wouldn't be able to live there.

That's IT!!!! Locke developed a fear of heights, so he had to leave the tower. Nothing to do with fire lady, or cursed arm. It's all a fear of heights that made him leave.

Seriously though, it would be so sweet to sit on that tower and stargaze. Can't really do it in most big cities due to smog, but without smog, getting the tallest building around for stargazing would be the best thing ever.

8th Mar 2013, 3:05 AM

I mean light pollution, not smog. Stars in the sky don't seem as bright when you have a whole city of lights around you.

11th Mar 2013, 4:14 PM

Guardrails at the top, of course~

Aww, Locke loves heights, actually! C': This will come up at times, later~

I gotcha! I live in a relatively-somewhat-big city, so I can't see the stars too well either. :C And it really makes a huge difference.

13th Mar 2013, 8:26 AM

I can't tell, but I don't really have a good image of the tower. But either the population is really small, they live in tight quarters or the tower is REAAALLLLLLY Huge. But then how does Locke just stroll to the top? D: Maybe it's like so big it takes a day just to go up it.

Irrelevant, do you have a code sample for those cool lightboxes you use when you post pictures? XD

8th Mar 2013, 6:41 AM

It's pretty huge, and it's a looong ways to the top. They have the means to do it, though. We'll see it eventually!

Oh! I use Lightbox for my images, but I had to fiddle with the CSS to make it work with CF's layout system. I'm willing to help out if you want to use it!

13th Mar 2013, 8:31 AM

Thanks! I'll have to give it whirl we I get some time.

13th Mar 2013, 1:11 PM

The art on this page is so, so evocative.

And I really, really want to see this tower. o.o

8th Mar 2013, 8:05 AM

Thanks~! C:

Lucratia is pretty great. ouo

13th Mar 2013, 8:32 AM

"To live in the sky"...

It makes me wonder if she was also refering to his dead sister when she said that.

8th Mar 2013, 9:36 AM

Hmm!

13th Mar 2013, 8:32 AM

OMG! Oralee's pastry-thing looks like a gun! QUICK! KICK HER OUT OF THE INN! >.> <.<

I couldn't help it. I wonder if that little detail was intentional, though. XD

I swear, though, people are getting redonkulus with things like that on the news.

8th Mar 2013, 1:40 PM

Pfft. It's Oralee. She could be wielding a sword double her height or a rather obvious dagger, and she'd still be so adorable (or even moreso than she already is) that they simply wouldn't care. :P

8th Mar 2013, 4:26 PM

BREAD GUN

IT SHOOTS JAM

RUN

13th Mar 2013, 8:34 AM

8th Mar 2013, 2:54 PM

13th Mar 2013, 8:34 AM

here's a riddle:
what's black when you buy it, red when you use it, and grey when you throw it away?

8th Mar 2013, 2:55 PM

Coal.

13th Mar 2013, 8:34 AM

wait, will we know what happened to his sister

9th Mar 2013, 12:35 PM

In time!

13th Mar 2013, 8:34 AM

You speak of stars.. like the stars in my eyes for you...sigh. Ren is thinking in the last panel.

10th Mar 2013, 7:56 AM

D'aww, how romantic. :'D

13th Mar 2013, 8:35 AM

hey kristy how do u put pics on ur comic because i making one called moo and his amazing adventures

12th Mar 2013, 4:07 PM

After you scan them to your computer, go to "Your Webcomics" on the green bar at the top of Comic Fury.

There should be an "Add a comic strip" link under your webcomic's name. Click that, then follow the steps from there!

13th Mar 2013, 8:37 AM

thanks

13th Mar 2013, 4:12 PM

Kristy, you should really learn to stop make us worrying. It's Friday, there's no update, and no visible sign of why. D:

15th Mar 2013, 6:51 PM

I'm sorry! I just finished it! D: Uploading now!

15th Mar 2013, 7:06 PM
