7th Jul 2011, 11:00 PM

Aaaand "Psychokiller" just jumped into my head. Run, run, run, run, run, run, run awayyyyyyy

7th Jul 2011, 11:05 PM

Go Madoc, go! Lol. I love poor Locke too but Madoc is da mannn~
Love the first two panels for some reason. XD

7th Jul 2011, 11:08 PM

Does this make Locke's ability "Run Away"?

7th Jul 2011, 11:26 PM

Have you ever seen Ranma 1/2? Their super secret final technique is.......run away lol. Makes me chuckle

8th Jul 2011, 3:27 AM

What will Llocke do.

[Steal 100pp][Punch 50pp]
[Blonde Powers - 5pp][Run 999pp]

Locke uses Run. Its super effective.

8th Jul 2011, 3:55 AM

It's not running away.

It's a strategic re-deployment of assets to a non-hostile area.

8th Jul 2011, 4:45 AM

RUN AWAY!!! ^^

8th Jul 2011, 6:59 AM

He's finally running :D

8th Jul 2011, 7:08 AM

Why the heck didn't he kill him?!

Chuck Norris woulda done it..

8th Jul 2011, 7:09 AM

o.0 "Well, you just hit me with a magic punch that sent me flying. Maybe I should start taking you seriously, or maybe I'll just keep dicking around. Meh. I'm not worried."

Yeah, I'd be running, too.

8th Jul 2011, 7:11 AM

He's running for Madoc's sake :) He's too nice to explode him with ancient arm curse :D

8th Jul 2011, 8:57 AM

Kyaa! Cute Oralee!

8th Jul 2011, 10:08 AM

Run away into the forest? He would be so much better off doing a backflip... into the forest.

Anyways, great strip as always.

8th Jul 2011, 11:03 AM

Distract Madoc with women!

8th Jul 2011, 7:30 PM

This reminds me of a classic final fantasy random encounter with a tough monster. Where you go into not knowing what to expect, try a few normal attacks then try an awesome magic attack and after seeing little result from it you spend the rest of the fight trying to flee.

9th Jul 2011, 11:06 AM

i love oralee's expretion!

9th Jul 2011, 5:39 PM

kristy, in the second panel there is no blood on locke's face but there is in the second to last one.is it just because that he's facing a different dirrection or no?i thought i should ask.:]

9th Jul 2011, 5:47 PM

@Macey: Haha, I hadn't even thought of that. o-o Time to listen to that song!

@DonCassieCass: Haha, Madoc is pretty awesome. :I Kind of a slacker and a tease, but I love him anyway.
I rather like the how the first two panels came out too. *-*

@Drakkonian: I would say that is one his abilities, yes. >_>

@Streak: I started reading Ranma 1/2 several years ago, but the library only had so many books. :C (Back in the day before manga scans were commonplace.) I should catch up with that again!

... That is an effective technique. :I

@Aapur: Super effective in amusing Madoc, anyway. o_o

@Ryan C.: Eeeexactly! :D

@ArchangelM127: GOOOOOOO~

@Frosty: Yes, finally. >:I He should've ran in the first place.

@MattWL: Why didn't who kill who? o_o

Locke kill Madoc? He's too nice for that. :I And wasn't really gaining any ground against Madoc anyway.
Madoc kill Locke? That's no fun! Madoc likes the adrenaline rush of the hunt/chase/fight.

@Zomburai: That's pretty much exactly what Madoc is thinking. :I

Run, Locke, runnnn~

@Magravan: I don't think Madoc minds either way. D:

@Guest: Cuteness is Oralee's specialty.

@Loungegecko: Wait for iiiiiiit.

@Fenris: That's already been tried! Well, not plural women...

@D_Man: Hahaha, that's a great comparison! XD I always hated that feeling...

@amago the frog: It is! Only the right side of Locke's mouth is bleeding, so you can't see it in the second panel. :)

This page makes me realize just how much I'm going to hate drawing running characters for Child of Apophis. It's hard to draw such a dynamic action one tip I do remember for actions though is to show either the start or end point, mid points are harder to interpret.

10th Jul 2011, 12:58 PM

They also made an anime! It...folllows the manga pretty well but there aren't as many episodes. Dubbed and subbed versions are on youtube! I haven't really watched the subbed versions but there seem to be more of those than the dubbed if you're in the mood to read.

11th Jul 2011, 8:11 AM

@Uglulyx: Yeah, that's one thing I've definitely learned for future scenes! I run more into the problem of combining both the pose and the camera angle in order to make a compelling scene. I need to study more illustrated fight/chase scenes. :)

@Streak: Oh yeah! I guess I could watch the anime, couldn't I? :o I do like me some subs over English dubs. Now to find time to watch them...

11th Jul 2011, 8:16 AM

I like a hero who's strong enough to kill his enemies, but would rather run/talk/avoid violence.
