What day would the second update be? ;)
(Also: Kristy, have you been reading TOGM lately? Your Vote Incentive seems to suggest as much... :P)

I'm thinking Monday. I'd have the weekend to work on a page, then the entire week to work on the second page. It'd be a lot to handle, but I think it'd be worth it to make the story go faster. At this rate, I'll be done in like 4-5 years. :X

I do read (and love) TOGM! But the idea of a zombie comic has been in my head long before I started reading it.

28th Jan 2011, 6:25 AM

It's not like we're the first person ever to make a zombie comic either lol :) I'm pretty sure there's at least one or two other ones out there :P

As for the updates, my suggestion (take it for what it is worth, not a whole lot) is to build up a bit of a buffer before you jump to two updates a week... I'm saying this as a fellow creator who gets concerned after watching too many CFers get burnt out by taking on too much... As a reader, I'm all for any and all increases to your update frequency :D

Oh, yeah, definitely. o_o That's very wise advice~! I do plan on taking nice a break between chapters to make a good-sized buffer before starting up again.

The "break" doesn't mean that there won't be updates to the comic, though. I have fillers in mind for during that time.

I want so much to post more often. :I It's killing me to update at this snail's pace.

Monkies. :I

28th Jan 2011, 7:04 AM

You sure like your monkeys, don't ya? :P

28th Jan 2011, 7:11 AM

Monkeys are cool. And hells yeah to 2 updates a week! But yeah, buffers are nice too.

I finally got around to read the whole thing. This is a great premise, I can't see how it evolves. And the colours, very beautiful. Congratulations, lots of luck with it, I'll be following it closely :)

Two updates a week? You'd best not be playing games with me... :P

Love that expression on Locke's face in panel 2. False sincerity is just about the hardest thing to communicate believably in art.

I'm lousy at buffers mainly 'cuz soon as I get a strip done, it drives me crazy if I can't post it right away.

What Mo said... sadly exactly what Mo said.

Also someone say how great my fanart is! ^_^

29th Jan 2011, 12:01 AM

@Ranger: Yes indeed.

@Shaggers: Agh, two updates a week would be wonderful. Next chapter, we'll see!

@FFAA: Thanks so much, I'm humbled by your compliments. :) Congratulations for being the 100th subscriber~!

@Zomburai: I'm being for reals. :O

Thanks! Locke is an interesting character for me to draw; he has a rather complex personality. :I It'll be challenging to get that across.

@Mo: I know, right. I have a feeling that's how this'll go. Or I'll be working on my buffer, get a few pages in and be like, "OK GOOOOO." and quickly run out of pages. Just have to be careful and patient, I guess. :I

@Effigy_Power: I think your fanart is wonderful! People, compliment her. >:O Do iiiit.

Warm/cool contrast in the last panel really conveys the mood. Nice!

2nd Feb 2011, 11:21 PM

So guys with wounded hands are nicer than guys with hoods! I knew I picked the right religion!
