I just had a lovely mental image of Madoc running along looking at the tree carvings and thinking his little thoughts, and then smacking headlong into a tree because he was looking the other way.
On a slightly more serious note, the motion in the first panel is very clear and well done (in my humble opinion), but Locke's head looks... I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it, but I think it might have something to do with his head. I wouldn't know though; I'm not an artist. I'm just the writer.
@MatthewJA: The exercise makes him happy. SO HAPPY.
@Jrade: It's a tree. With something etched on it.
@Zomburai: The fact that Madoc knows more than we do about the tree makes it at least a little significant. o_o Right?
@Ryan C.: ...That sounds terrifying.
@Spinnerlink: It could be. It's certainly something.
@Effigy: Hey, don't be messing with my Goblins. They would have interesting wares and be generally nice folk...if they existed. D:
@Lincoln: Runnin' runnin' runnin'...
@D_Man: Possibly!
@MasterofWeirdness: Dat clever, clever barmaid.
@Midnight: Thanks! He's a-runnin'~. Getting quite tired of drawing him a-runnin', too.
@AcolyteofAzura: That's actually pretty ironic! I looked up Locke's name meaning the other day and found out that it means "forest." :D
@JessieJess: ... Is Locke singing that to Madoc? How awkward. :O
Aaaand you were almost correct!
@Derrick: Hahaha~ Dat tree's theme song.
@Grammar Defender: Ha! That would be so humiliating for him and hilarious for us... Hmm! Something to consider~.
Thank you! Yeah, it seemed a bit odd to me too as I was inking it. I think I may have drawn Locke's eyes a bit too large in that panel. That could be the problem.
